BBC News<\/a>,\u00a0NBC News<\/a>, CBS News<\/a>, and\u00a0ABC News<\/a>\u00a0have all reported that Wen has been deported, sent home to Australia, and \u201cbarred from re-entering Singapore,\u201d citing a spokesperson for Singapore’s Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) and local media.<\/p>\n The news of Wen’s deportation comes after he was reportedly sentenced to nine days in jail<\/a> for being a “public nuisance.” A viral video showed Wen hopping over the celebrity-crowded carpet’s barricade and accosting Grande, putting his arm around her. Grande’s co-star, Cynthia Erivo, instinctively intervened while security rushed to remove Wen, who went for a second attempt.<\/p>\n The “serial intruder<\/a>” has ambushed other unsuspecting celebrities before. I\u2019m sure he didn\u2019t mean us harm, but you never know with those things, and I wanted to make sure that she was okay.
