Recently, a royal expert, Katie Nicholl, discussed the cause of the strain between the siblings while on\u00a0The Sun<\/a>\u2018s show \u201cRoyal Exclusive.\u201d The journalist noted the possible timeline when the rift between William and Harry started, which could be when Nicholl published a story on them.<\/p>\n \u201cI think the moment that we realised that there was tensions between the brothers was after I printed a story in Vanity Fair about William just urging Harry to take his time because they were engaged,\u201d Nicholl deduced. \u201cOf course, William had taken many years before he proposed to Kate Middleton because he wanted her to be his wife.\u201d She noted that William \u201cwanted\u201d Middleton to also \u201cknow that this was what she wanted for her life too.\u201d<\/p>\n The royal expert then explained, \u201cAnd I think, you know, what was meant to be well-intended brotherly advice landed really badly with Harry.\u201d Nicholl additionally claimed that this incident could have been \u201cthe start of the real unravelling of their relationship.\u201d \u201cI mean, Harry really, it really hurt him,\u201d the expert added. \u201cHe felt he didn\u2019t have his brother\u2019s backing over Meghan.\u201d<\/p>\n Meanwhile, another royal expert, Robert Jobson, agreed with Nicholl\u2019s observations.
