Skate<\/i><\/a> season two goes live next week and will add 25 new songs to the bumper soundtrack.<\/p>\n Skate<\/i> launched in September with more than 15million players kickflipping into the world of San Vansterdam. Season one went live in October, adding a number of bug fixes and new areas as part of the \u201890s-themed update<\/a>. Season two launches December 2 and in a new blog post<\/a>, developers have revealed exactly what players can expect.<\/p>\n \u201cWith Season 2: Future Radical, we\u2019re heading back to the \u201880s \u2013 a time of neon lights, arcade machines, and punk vs. pop. A number of new flip and handplant tricks will also be available alongside an expanded range of rewards and customisation options.<\/p>\n Skate<\/i>\u2019s \u201880s-inspired season two will also give the bumper soundtrack a refresh \u2013 25 new tracks will be added while others will be removed.\u00a0The full soundtrack will be unveiled next week but EA has confirmed five \u201880s classics that will be available via the in-game Grabster. They are:<\/p>\n Public Enemy \u2013 \u2018Public Enemy No. 1\u2019<\/em> Season one saw 21 new songs added to the Skate<\/i> soundtrack and 25 removed.<\/p>\n According to developers, the plan is for Skate<\/i> to be an ever-evolving world and every season a \u201csignificantly heavy batch\u201d of songs will be replaced by new choices. \u201cIf there\u2019s an outcry because one particular song left, there\u2019s definitely the opportunity of making it permanent or bringing it back,\u201d Skate<\/i> Creative Director Deran Chung told NME recently<\/a>. The team are also \u201calways listening\u201d to suggestions from fans.<\/p>\n \u201cThe word that kept cropping up [with the soundtrack] was \u2018juxtaposition\u2019,\u201d he added. \u201cIf you\u2019ve got all these alternative indie rock tracks, you need something else that sounds completely fresh, otherwise the whole thing would just feel samey.
