\n\tWhile ugly Christmas sweaters have become an annual holiday<\/a> tradition, they\u2019re not in the dress code for every<\/em> festive event.<\/p>\n

\n\tJimmy Fallon<\/a> finds that out the hard way in his latest Christmas song, the twangy \u201cUgly Sweater,\u201d featuring Nashville newcomer Carter Faith<\/a>. The song and video will debut on the Thanksgiving episode (Nov. 27) of The Tonight Show<\/a> Starring Jimmy Fallon<\/em>, but Billboard<\/em> has the first sneak peek for you right now.<\/p>\n

\n\tIt all starts out as a classy affair in the clip, with Faith in a gorgeous off-the-shoulder red cocktail dress and an Aperol spritz in her hand, surrounded by similarly formal friends. \u201cBut I found out when you opened the door,\u201d she sings \u2014 just as Fallon makes his entrance in a goofy red-and-green-striped sweater covered in scattered appliqu\u00e9s of a giant treble clef, Santa and his reindeer, and the words \u201cFA LA.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI was the only one in an ugly sweater,\u201d Fallon sings in a deep twang as he awkwardly makes his way through the party. \u201cRed in the face, it don\u2019t get better\/ Pretty clear I\u2019m no trend-setter\/ I\u2019m the only one in an ugly sweater.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe song was written by Fallon and produced by Dave Cobb, and will be released by Republic Records. Watch the preview below:<\/p>\n

\n\tFallon is no stranger to holiday music, bringing cheer to Billboard<\/em>\u2019s charts over the years with seasonal tunes and albums, including his debut Christmas album Holiday Seasoning<\/em>. Released in 2024, the set spent eight weeks at No. 1 on Billboard<\/em>\u2019s Comedy Albums<\/a> chart and jingled to a No. 2 peak on Top Holiday Albums<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tFallon has also gifted Billboard<\/em>\u2019s lists with holiday jams like 2021\u2019s \u201cIt Was a (Masked Christmas)\u201d (with Ariana Grande and Megan Thee Stallion, a No. 38-peaking hit on Pop Airplay<\/a>); 2022\u2019s \u201cAlmost Too Early for Christmas\u201d (with Dolly Parton, No. 30 on Adult Contemporary<\/a>); 2023\u2019s \u201cWrap Me Up\u201d (with Meghan Trainor, No. 2 on Adult Contemporary and a top 40-charted hit on Pop Airplay and Adult Pop Airplay<\/a>); and 2024\u2019s \u201cHoliday\u201d (with Jonas Brothers, No. 1 on Adult Contemporary) \u2014 Fallon\u2019s first No. 1 on a radio airplay chart<\/a> and a top 40 hit on Adult Pop Airplay.<\/p>\n

\n\tFaith was Billboard<\/em>\u2018s Country Rookie of the Month<\/a> in March, when she signed a music publishing deal with Universal Music Publishing Group Nashville. She released her debut album, Cherry Valley<\/em>, via MCA Nashville in October.<\/p>\n
