\u201cLate Night<\/a>\u201d host Seth Meyers<\/a> on Tuesday clowned President Donald Trump<\/a> for making the \u201cweird\u201d White House turkey pardoning tradition even \u201cweirder.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Trump \u2014 in remarks at the Rose Garden ceremony \u2014 claimed that former President Joe Biden<\/a>\u2019s turkey pardons last year were \u201ctotally invalid,\u201d as were other pardons besides his pardon of his son Hunter Biden. He also insulted<\/a> Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker (D) and rambled about drug dealers, gang members and murders.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cI think those turkeys were standing there being like, \u2018Just fucking kill us. Put us out of our misery,\u2019\u201d Meyers quipped.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cAlso, don\u2019t say the word \u2018Hunter\u2019 near some turkeys, you\u2019re going to freak them out! They don\u2019t follow politics, they don\u2019t know what you\u2019re talking about, they\u2019re going to think this whole thing is a trap.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Meyers moved on to how Trump made the ceremony much \u201cweirder\u201d with his talk of the turkeys\u2019 diets.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cDespite their size, [Health] Secretary [Robert F.] Kennedy [Jr.] has formally certified that these are the first-ever MAHA turkeys,\u201d said Trump, referring to RFK Jr.\u2019s \u201chealthy\u201d lifestyle movement.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n He continued, \u201cIn other words, they could be fat, but they\u2019re still MAHA. They\u2019ve been fattened on a steady diet of grass, beef, to allow the smoothies and all the other things they have been eating for this occasion.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Meyers joked that it sounded like Trump still planned to eat the turkeys before claiming the birds may have gotten \u201csuspicious\u201d because only one was present at the ceremony.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cCouldn\u2019t keep track of two fucking turkeys?\u201d Meyers remarked.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Check out more from Meyers\u2019 Tuesday monologue on \u201cLate Night.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
