“I was thinking about, in the past few years of having Thanksgiving here, like many of us, I think you always make sure there\u2019s room at the table for your friends who don\u2019t have family, which is really key,” Meghan said as she revealed Gloria came for Thanksgiving in 2023.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

However, Meghan insisted to the publication that their holiday celebrations were “always pretty low-key.”<\/p>\n
The Suits star continued to gush over her usual Thanksgiving plans, adding, “We\u2019re always making sure we have something fun to do. Like any other family, you spend time having a great meal, and then what do you do? Play games, all the same stuff, someone brings a guitar \u2014 fun. I love the holidays.<\/p>\n
Meghan said that spending the special days with her children got “better” every year, sharing, “At first, I think as a mom with children you\u2019re just enjoying having them there, but they\u2019re not understanding everything that\u2019s happening yet. But now we\u2019re at the age where I just can\u2019t wait to see it through their lens every year,”<\/p>\n
The mom of two also revealed that they have been creating “traditions” for holidays, such as leaving “carrots for reindeer.”<\/p>\n
Since quitting their royal duties in 2020, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have spoken out several times about how Meghan struggled to adapt to life in the Royal Family – and how being a member of the Firm is “nothing like what it looks like.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
