A <\/span>Wi<\/span>cked<\/span>-ly <\/span>good performance, a hilarious <\/span>Al Roker<\/strong> fan interaction, a surprise <\/span>Jessica Chastain <\/strong>appearance and so much more makes this year\u2019s Macy\u2019s Thanksgiving Day Parade<\/a> one to remember. <\/span><\/p>\n

Savannah Guthrie<\/strong> and <\/span>Today <\/span>show alum <\/span>Hoda Kotb <\/strong>reunited to host the 99th annual Thanksgiving Day Parade Nov. 27 alongside Al, and <\/span>Cynthia Erivo<\/strong><\/a> kicked <\/span>off the holiday <\/span>spectacular to sing <\/span>Nina Simone<\/strong>\u2019s \u201cFeeling Good.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

After her rendition, Cynthia officially marked the beginning of the parade by cutting the ribbon, allowing every balloon imaginable from Pikachu to Tom the Turkey float through the streets of Manhattan. <\/span><\/p>\n

Later, Al showcased the Radio City Rockettes and gave a young fan a very special present\u2014tickets to see the show in New York. <\/span><\/p>\n

As the <\/span>Today <\/span>weather presenter told the young girl, \u201cWould you be excited to see the Rockettes?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

In response, t<\/span>he fan answered, \u201cYeah!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

But when Al presented the girl with <\/span>her prize<\/span>, she hilariously quipped, \u201cI did that yesterday!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Cynthia wasn\u2019t the only singer to deliver a beautiful performance. <\/span>Conan Gray <\/strong>appeared to sing his hit \u201cVodka Cranberry,\u201d while<\/span> Jewel<\/strong> sang a snippet of her beloved \u201cYou Were Meant For Me.\u201d <\/span>Ciara<\/strong> also shut down Herald Square to perform \u201cLow\u201d in an all-pink ensemble. <\/span><\/p>\n

Elsewhere during the event, <\/span>Lil Jon<\/strong> gave a holiday-inspired spin on his and <\/span>DJ Snake<\/strong>\u2019s \u201cTurn Down For What.\u201d However, instead of the French record producer spinning on the track, the rapper had help from Toys R Us giraffe, DJ Giraffe, as he performed on the toy store\u2019s float. <\/span><\/p>\n

Like every year, the Macy\u2019s parade also featured several performances from Broadway productions, including from <\/span>Buena Vista Social Club<\/span> and <\/span>Just In Time<\/span>. During the latter performance, <\/span>Jonathan Groff<\/strong>\u2014who was joined in the performance by costars <\/span>Sarah Hyland <\/strong>and <\/span>Sadie Dickerson<\/strong>\u2014welcomed<\/span> Saturday Night Live<\/a><\/span>\u2019s<\/span> Bowen Yang<\/strong> to make a quick cameo, spinning the comedian around and planting a kiss on his hand. <\/span><\/p>\n

Other celebrities who took in all the action? Oscar winner Jessica was shown jamming out to the parade\u2019s performances, as well as Bowen\u2019s <\/span>Las Culturist<\/span>as <\/span>podcast c<\/span>ohost <\/span>Matt Rogers<\/strong>. <\/span>Eric <\/strong>Andr\u00e9 <\/strong>also turned the parade into a family affair, posing with several family members in the parade\u2019s VIP hospitality suite, as well as in another photo with fellow comedian <\/span>Hasan Minhaj<\/strong>. <\/span><\/p>\n

Naturally, the parade couldn\u2019t conclude without an appearance from Santa Claus himself to officially declare, in the words of <\/span>Mariah Carey<\/strong>, \u201cIt\u2019s time.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
