and\u00a0Evelyn, 11, with Bruce, 70 \u2014 explained that it\u2019s \u201cvery simple\u201d and \u201calways actually has been,\u201d as they focus on \u201cjust being able to be present with him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Heming\u2019s stepdaughter Rumer Willis recently <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/11\/21\/parents\/rumer-willis-gives-heartbreaking-update-on-dad-bruces-dementia-battle\/\">made similar comments<\/a>, telling her Instagram followers in a candid video that she feels \u201cso happy and grateful\u201d that she still gets to \u201chug him.\u201d And \u201cwhether he recognizes [her] or not,\u201d she believes he \u201crecognizes the love,\u201d which she feels in return.<\/p>\n<p>Though Bruce is not the father she once knew, Rumer, 37, still sees \u201ca spark of him,\u201d which \u201cfeels really nice.\u201d She is also thankful that she
