I\u2019M A Celebrity\u2026 Get Me Out of Here! is set to air a movie-length episode tonight as ITV confirmed the return of its iconic live Bushtucker Trial for the first time in six years.<\/p>\n

The show, which usually runs for an hour from 9pm, will instead continue until 10.35pm to accommodate the high-stakes live event.<\/p>\n

Last night\u2019s Rivals trials saw Alex Scott and Shona McGarty bursting fish eyes to collect the juice \u2013 and Alex got sick<\/span><\/p>\n

And hosts Ant and Dec<\/a> have promised a dramatic showdown with a twist that will leave campmates stunned.<\/p>\n

Appearing on Celebrity Unpacked last night<\/a>, the Geordie duo revealed the big news. <\/p>\n

Dec told viewers: \u201cWell they are going to go head-to-head over a series of trials and they will be winning the food for each other.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ant, looking thrilled, jumped in to add: \u201cI\u2019ve got to mention this\u2026 it all comes to a head tomorrow in a live Bushtucker Trial which is back on television after a six year hiatus.\u201d<\/p>\n

Turning to his co-host, Ant asked: \u201cDidn\u2019t you ask for it?,\u201d only for Dec to immediately shoot it down: \u201cNo way did I ask for it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ant continued building the anticipation, confirming: \u201cTomorrow in the show there\u2019s a live trial.\u201d<\/p>\n

Then Dec delivered the biggest surprise of the night, revealing: \u201cAll six pairs, all six rivals will be taking part in the live trial tomorrow night.\u201d<\/p>\n

Teasing the unpredictable nature of the challenge, he added: \u201cAnything could happen, it could be amazing, it could be terrible.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Sun revealed last week that ITV bosses were\u00a0bringing back the fan-favourite live Bushtucker Trial<\/a>\u00a0for the first time in five years.<\/p>\n

The last time it aired was during the 2020 series which was filmed in Wales due to\u00a0Covid<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The live challenge provided one of the show\u2019s most famous moments in 2010, when TV presenter\u00a0Gillian McKeith<\/a>\u00a0\u201cfainted\u201d after the public voted for her to do her seventh trial.<\/p>\n

She fell to the ground near hosts\u00a0Ant McPartlin<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Dec Donnelly,<\/a>\u00a0and former Olympic gold medallist Linford Christie stepped in to replace her.<\/p>\n

It is believed the live trial will take place at some point next week.<\/p>\n
