Marjorie Taylor Greene\u2019s resignation from Congress is fueling speculation that the Georgia Republican could be joining ABC\u2019s The View as a co-host.<\/p>\n

A producer for the long-running daytime talk show<\/a> told the Daily Mail<\/a> that Greene is being considered for a future seat at the table.<\/p>\n

“She was actually really lovely behind the scenes, no one expected that,” the producer said, following recent Epstein file drama on the show<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“And I know that we had a lot more social media engagement that day. Before she was on, I’d have been like \u2018absolutely not,\u2019 but now I could see the vision if they decided to go that route.<\/p>\n

“I don\u2019t think it\u2019s in the immediate plans or anything, but she is definitely someone who would be on a shortlist,” they added.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Greene, 51, announced this month that she plans to leave Congress in early 2026.<\/p>\n

Her appearance on The View earlier this month drew praise from some of the show\u2019s regular audience and even from co-host Sunny Hostin, who described Greene as different from her media image.<\/p>\n

“I\u2019m sitting here just stumped, because you are a very different person than I thought you were,” Hostin said during the episode.<\/p>\n

“Well, you\u2019ve only seen me in clips and headlines, and that\u2019s not fair,” Greene replied.<\/p>\n

“All of this two-party fighting, you guys are all victims of the political industrial complex. It\u2019s built on fundraising and fighting and toxic garbage. That exists all over social media, but it\u2019s not gonna solve our problems in this country.”<\/p>\n

The exchange remained civil, a contrast from Greene\u2019s often combative public personality.<\/p>\n

Former View co-host Meghan McCain responded to Greene\u2019s resignation by posting on X, “I knew she was going to be the next co-host of The View!”<\/p>\n

McCain held the show\u2019s conservative seat from 2017 to 2021 before being replaced by Alyssa Farah Griffin, who is preparing for maternity leave.<\/p>\n

PR specialist Vanessa Santos told the Daily Mail that Greene “would be a great fit,” adding, “The View would be lucky to have her. Even if she’s distancing herself from Trump right now, she still represents traditional Republican values, and she\u2019d bring a level of courage and clarity that show desperately needs.”<\/p>\n
