The dreamy, jangly Swedish post-punk greats Makthaverskan have not graced us with an album since 2021’s F\u00f6r Allting<\/em>, but on this Black Friday they’ve given us reason to maintain the Thanksgiving spirit. The band has announced that a new album called Glass And Bones<\/em> is coming in April, and they’re offering us a first peak today with the release of new single “Pity Party.” <\/p>\n We don’t know much about the new LP yet beyond its release date, but the song suggests Makthaverskan are extremely good at writing immaculate C86-indebted guitar-pop tunes that surge forward in fits of unbound emotion.
