A few stragglers will appear in the coming weeks, and we may see a few additional advance singles for albums due in Q1 of 2026. I will report as required. Meanwhile, tomorrow (November 29) is the Black Friday edition of New Music Friday. <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/recordstoredaycanada.ca\/\">There are all sorts of goodness available.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Singles<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>1. Amos the Transparent, <em>Steady Light<\/em> (ArtHaus Music)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Coming from Ottawa, this five-piece group is well road-tested having spent thousands of miles crisscrossing the continent in a van. If you\u2019re looking for a song that gives you all sorts of feels from the 90s, you\u2019ll find something to like here. If you\u2019re in Ottawa, there\u2019s a hometown Christmas show at Club Saw on December 20.<\/p>\n<div class=\"jeg_video_container jeg_video_content\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Steady Light (Radio Edit)\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/E54ezRUw46M?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p><strong>2. The Blue Stones, <em>Happy Cry<\/em> (New Weapon Records)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is the third Blue Stones single that points toward a new album 2026. Rob Zombie, <em>Heathen Days<\/em> (Nuclear Blast)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Nothing says Christmas more than a new Rob Zombie single. This is the second single from The Great Satan, which will be available February 27. The Boy Detective, <em>Disco Lunch<\/em> (Punkerton)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>How about some late fall ska-punk? The Boy Detective is a seven-piece from Ypsilanti, Michigan, which began when two friends started goofing about by singing ska-punk songs about their wives and kids. The started getting serious just as COVID started, but that wasn\u2019t enough to stop them entire. They have just dropped their second album. The Beatles, <em>Anthology 4<\/em> (Universal)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The people at Abbey Road keep unearthing material The Beatles left behind. Now, however, Giles Martin (the overseer of this project) indicates that the well might be dry, and after looking through the track listing, plenty of fans agree.
