The Music Managers Forum<\/a> has announced the first cohort of managers to pass the organisation\u2019s new Manager Certification Programme, including MMF\u00a0 board members.<\/p>\n Launched in September 2025 and available to Pro Members of the MMF, the initiative has been developed with experts from Prager Metis, SRLV, BAND Advisory Group and Simkins.\u00a0<\/p>\n As well as validating participants\u2019 key industry knowledge, the overall aim of the programme is to encourage professional development within the music management community and create a recognised benchmark that raises standards across the industry.<\/p>\n The programme embeds guidelines from the Creative Industries Independent Standards Authority (CIISA) to ensure ethical and professional standards, while those who pass the two-hour exam will gain certification for a period of three years.\u00a0<\/p>\n The first wave of certified managers is as follows:<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0Alexandra Kelaiditi, Craft Management<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0Ami Jay, AJM<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0Chelsea Wood, Wood Management\u00a0<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0Christopher Bellam, Underplay Music\u00a0<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0Hide Whone, Theory Management<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0Jill Hollywood, Echo Beach Management<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0Kerry Harvey-Piper, Red Grape Music<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0Niamh Bryne, Eleven Management<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0Phil Jones, Tuesdays Artists & Media<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0Pip Newby, Brigade Management\u00a0<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0Sara Heyward, Nick Heyward \/ Haircut 100<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0Suzi Cronin, Eleven Management\u00a0<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0Raymond Black, Craft Management<\/p>\n The Manager Certification Programme has already won public backing across the UK music business<\/a> \u2013 including the FAC, Beggars Group, AIM, the BPI, Sony Music UK, Universal Music UK and Warner Music UK.<\/p>\n In order to support the programme, Warner Music UK<\/a> has also committed to provide the non-recoupable cost of certification to the manager of any new artist signing a long-term artist deal with one its labels.<\/p>\n
