I’m a Celebrity\u2026 Get Me Out of Here!<\/em> viewers have reacted to the first celebrity exit of the season. In tonight’s show<\/a>, the result of the vote-off was announced and Alex Scott<\/strong> became the first campmate to leave the jungle.<\/p>\n In a recap of yesterday’s events, the celebrities<\/a> shared a final night together as a camp of 12<\/a>, each giving a farewell speech to the group and sharing what they had gained from the experience in the jungle.<\/p>\n Alex, a former professional footballer, said: “I suppose the only way that I can describe this, is it is like being on a rollercoaster. And I’m shit scared of rollercoasters but I keep wanting to go back.”<\/p>\n “And when we do get off the other end, whether I leave tomorrow, I’ll be telling everyone forever about this magical rollercoaster,” added the star, who has also appeared on Strictly Come Dancing<\/em>.<\/p>\n In the morning, the celebrities learned that the public had been voting to save their favourite campmate and hosts Ant & Dec revealed the first celebrity to leave this year’s show. <\/p>\n Related: <\/strong>Best streaming services<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n Following the announcement that Alex had received the least amount of votes and had therefore been voted off the show, she said: “It’s been such an incredible experience.” <\/p>\n “Mentally it’s so tough and I did struggle at times missing home and everything. I’m so glad I got to do this series with such a bunch of great campmates,” she continued.<\/p>\n Reacting to the news, fans took to Instagram<\/a> to share their thoughts on the former Lioness’ exit, with one viewer saying they were “fuming”. <\/p>\n Some fans called for model and presenter Kelly Brook to leave instead of the former footballer, writing: “Should have been Kelly.
