BINGHAMTON (WIVT\/WBGH) \u2013 A favorite local singer is celebrating the holidays with fans as she prepares to perform a series of special holiday shows.<\/p>\n
Throughout the month of December, Allie Torto will perform Christmas hits and classics at various locations throughout the community. Torto is kicking off the holidays tomorrow at Lost Dog Cafe in the lounge at 1 p.m. She will be joined by other local singers also getting into the holiday spirit at Allie and Friends on December 5th at the Elks Lodge in Kirkwood. Next, Torto has also been invited to perform at Kirkwood\u2019s Hometown Christmas on December 6th. And she will wrap it all up with a special performance at New Leaf Cider Company on December 20th.
Torto says she loves getting to connect with the community and celebrate the holidays with people who support her.<\/p>\n
\u201cI love this time of year. So, just in general being able to connect with people and be around people who also enjoy the same seasons and same type of holiday spirit that I do is very comforting and warming. I love that,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
