\n Folks, we\u2019ve made it. The end of the year is upon us.\n <\/p>\n

\n As with every year, our theaters and smart TVs will be filled with a sometimes cheerful mix of heady award hopefuls<\/a>, mind-numbing but merry comedies, big box office blowouts and some out-of-left-field curveballs.\n <\/p>\n

\n A few seasonally appropriate titles are already out and making the rounds, like \u201cA Very Jonas Christmas Movie\u201d from the Jonas Brothers on Disney+\/Hulu and \u201cA Merry Little Ex-Mas<\/a>,\u201d starring \u201990s darlings Alicia Silverstone and Melissa Joan Hart on Netflix. A new \u201cKnives Out\u201d mystery and rom-com\/caper \u201cJingle Bell Heist\u201d also hit the streamer this week.\n <\/p>\n

\n A few buzzy theatrical releases round out the offerings this Thanksgiving weekend, including tear-jerker and award season contender \u201cHamnet\u201d and family-friendly animal adventure \u201cZootopia 2.\u201d\n <\/p>\n

\n For those who love <\/strong>educational content mixed in with their merriment, there\u2019s this documentary about Christmas tree sellers and their families in New York City \u2013 where everyone knows it isn\u2019t truly the holiday season until these merchants and their fragrant merchandise appear.\n <\/p>\n
