CLEVELAND, Ohio – Multiple stars from \u201cGilmore Girls\u201d have voiced support for a holiday-themed reunion, though series creator Amy Sherman-Palladino has not announced official plans for the project, Parade<\/a> reports.<\/p>\n Lauren Graham, who played Lorelai Gilmore, has emerged as the idea\u2019s strongest advocate. During an appearance on \u201cThe Drew Barrymore Show\u201d<\/a> in August, she pitched a Christmas movie modeled after British holiday specials.<\/p>\n \u201cYou get to visit your characters, and it\u2019s holiday, and it\u2019s, you know, it\u2019s sentimental, but it\u2019s not like a whole reboot of the whole thing,\u201d Graham said. \u201cSo that is my idea that has been sanctioned by no one.\u201d<\/p>\n Graham reiterated her openness to the concept in a fall interview with the Hollywood Reporter<\/a>, comparing her vision to other concluded series that have reunited for special occasions.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve been saying for a long time what I could see making sense is a Christmas movie in the tradition of \u2018Downton Abbey\u2019 or those other kinds of shows that are over but then kind of come together, especially around the holidays,\u201d she told the outlet. \u201cI think that would be very Gilmore friendly.\u201d<\/p>\n Kelly Bishop, who portrayed Emily Gilmore, addressed the possibility during a November interview on the \u201cIn Her Words\u201d<\/a> podcast. She indicated that Sherman-Palladino holds the key to any revival moving forward.<\/p>\n \u201cWell, it all really ultimately depends initially with Amy, and I think that she\u2019s open to it,\u201d Bishop said. \u201cAnd I think Lauren [Graham] is… And I would always be interested in doing it.\u201d<\/p>\n Sally Struthers, who played Babette Dell, expressed similar enthusiasm in the upcoming documentary \u201cDrink Coffee, Talk Fast,\u201d according to Screen Rant<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cWhat\u2019s happening in Stars Hollow for Christmas?
