Legendary Queen guitarist Brian May made headlines a year ago when he suffered a stroke, and to his credit it sounds like he is doing just about everything he can to claw his way out of that hole. <\/p>\n
In recent interview on ITV\u2019s \u201cLove Your Weekend,\u201d May outlined his routine as he tries to stay healthy.<\/p>\n
\u201cI keep moving,\u201d <\/b>he said. <\/b><\/a>\u201cI do my biking a lot of times a week. I do a hundred lengths in the pool once a week. To me, that\u2019s what\u2019s keeping me going. That\u2019s what\u2019s keeping me alive.<\/p>\n \u201cSo, for now, I\u2019m still here.\u201d<\/p>\n And, it seems, May considers himself about as lucky as a stroke survivor can be.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve been lucky,\u201d he said. \u201cI get these things, but I seem to be able to get out of them. They give you a wake-up call.\u201d<\/p>\n May revealed last September in a social media post that he had suffered the stroke, and in January his wife, actress Anita Dobson, provided The Sun<\/b><\/a> with a big update on him.<\/p>\n \u201cThe start of the year has been up and down,\u201d she said. \u201cWe both had the flu, but we took the kids to Lapland. Fifteen of them.<\/p>\n \u201cBrian is stable now,\u201d she added. \u201cBrian has never been happier since we moved. For me it\u2019s been a curveball as I\u2019m a London girl born and bred so going to the countryside to a house that needs a lot of work was a bit of a shock.\u201d<\/p>\n She said the move had been great for May.<\/p>\n \u201cHe loves it,\u201d she said. \u201cHe loves the birds and animals. He feeds all the birds and the badgers, foxes and pheasants. It\u2019s like running a pub for animals. We are going to see some friends in Switzerland and I\u2019ve got another series of Doctor Who coming out.\u201d<\/p>\n
