{"id":2182188,"date":"2025-11-30T23:42:08","date_gmt":"2025-11-30T23:42:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/celebrity.land\/en\/?p=2182188"},"modified":"2025-11-30T23:42:08","modified_gmt":"2025-11-30T23:42:08","slug":"prince-william-moved-by-the-courage-of-child-evacuees-from-gaza","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/celebrity.land\/en\/prince-william-moved-by-the-courage-of-child-evacuees-from-gaza\/","title":{"rendered":"Prince William &#8216;moved by the courage&#8217; of child evacuees from Gaza"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div data-testid=\"article-body\">\n<p class=\"A8Lwr BVYCX\">The <a target=\"_blank\" class=\"qNUzV q7LZa\" data-testid=\"next-link-anchor\" href=\"https:\/\/www.itv.com\/news\/topic\/prince-of-wales\"><span class=\"n6NlI\">Prince of Wales<\/span><\/a> has been &#8220;moved by the courage&#8221; of severely ill children from Gaza who have been evacuated to the UK for treatment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"A8Lwr BVYCX\">Fifty children and their immediate families have now been brought to Britain from Gaza for treatment, according to the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC).<\/p>\n<p class=\"A8Lwr BVYCX\">Kensington Palace said the Prince of Wales recently visited a number of these children and their families, to &#8220;offer a moment of comfort&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p class=\"A8Lwr BVYCX\">A spokesperson said: \u201cRecently His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales met a small number of children from <a target=\"_blank\" class=\"qNUzV q7LZa\" data-testid=\"next-link-anchor\" href=\"https:\/\/www.itv.com\/news\/topic\/gaza\"><span class=\"n6NlI\">Gaza <\/span><\/a>who are currently receiving specialist care in the UK.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"cp_grid-legacy n1Jiz\" data-testid=\"inline-tile-list-container\">\n<article data-testid=\"tile-undefined\" class=\"_9ngZG cp_grid-legacy__item cp_width-legacy--one-half V42pZ\"\/>\n<article data-testid=\"tile-undefined\" class=\"_9ngZG cp_grid-legacy__item cp_width-legacy--one-half V42pZ\"\/><\/aside>\n<p class=\"A8Lwr BVYCX\">&#8220;The Prince wished to offer a moment of comfort to these young people who have endured experiences no child should ever face. <\/p>\n<p class=\"A8Lwr BVYCX\">&#8220;The Prince was also able to offer his heartfelt gratitude to the NHS teams providing exceptional care during such a profoundly difficult time.<\/p>\n<p class=\"A8Lwr BVYCX\">&#8220;His Royal Highness was moved by the courage shown by the children and their families and by the dedication of the team who are supporting them with such professionalism and humanity.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"A8Lwr BVYCX\">William paid tribute to humanitarian workers last month during a visit to Gunnersbury Park, west London.<\/p>\n<p class=\"A8Lwr BVYCX\">At the launch of the first global memorial for humanitarian workers, he said: &#8220;We are witnesses to the appalling suffering of those who are victims of war and violence; from Ukraine to Sudan, from Myanmar to Haiti and, indeed, throughout much of the Middle East.
