LOS ANGELES<\/strong> \u2013 The Super Bowl pregame show will open with a trio of standout performers in Northern California: Charlie Puth<\/a> will hit the stage to sing the national anthem, Brandi Carlile<\/a> will take on \u201cAmerica the Beautiful\u201d and Coco Jones<\/a> will sing \u201cLift Every Voice and Sing.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n The performances will take place Feb. 8 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, before the NFL\u2019s championship matchup and halftime show featuring Puerto Rican superstar Bad Bunny,<\/a> the league announced Sunday. <\/p>\n \u201cThese artists bring a distinct voice to the moment, helping set the tone for a day that will captivate fans around the world,\u201d said Jon Barker, senior vice president of global event production for the NFL. <\/p>\n The pregame performances will air on NBC, Telemundo and Peacock.<\/p>\n The national anthem and \u201cLift Every Voice and Sing\u201d will be performed by deaf performing artist Fred Beam in American Sign Language. Julian Ortiz will sign \u201cAmerica the Beautiful.\u201d <\/p>\n In a historic first, the halftime show will include a multilingual signing program featuring Puerto Rican Sign Language, led by interpreter Celimar Rivera Cosme. All signed performances for the pregame and halftime shows will be presented in collaboration with Alexis Kashar of LOVE SIGN and Howard Rosenblum of Deaf Equality.<\/p>\n Puth is a four-time Grammy-nominated singer known for his songs \u201cAttention,\u201d \u201cWe Don\u2019t Talk Anymore\u201d and his 2015 breakout hit \u201cSee You Again,” with Wiz Khalifa,<\/a> from the \u201cFurious 7\u201d<\/a> movie soundtrack. His appearance will come ahead of his fourth studio album \u201cWhatever\u2019s Clever!” due on March 6.<\/p>\n Carlile has won 11 Grammys and won praise for her eighth studio album \u201cReturning to Myself,\u201d<\/a> which was released in October. She’s nominated for two Grammys with Elton John<\/a> for their album \u201cWho Believes in Angels?\u201d<\/a> released in April and their song \u201cNever Too Late\u201d from his documentary film \u201cElton John: Never Too Late.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n Jones is an R&B star who won a Grammy in the best R&B performance category for her song \u201cICU\u201d<\/a> in 2024 and released her debut album \u201cWhy Not More?”<\/a> which is nominated for best R&B album at next year’s ceremony.
