(CBS, KYMA) – The Kennedy Center Honors has unveiled a new medallion ahead of the upcoming ceremony<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Gold Award, designed by Tiffany and Company, features the Kennedy Center and rainbow colors representing the arts.<\/p>\n

It hangs from a navy blue ribbon, with the center saying the color is associated with dignity and tradition. It replaces the multi-colored ribbon that has long been part of the award.<\/p>\n

This Sunday, George Strait, Michael Crawford, Gloria Gaynor, Sylvester Stallone, and the members of KISS will receive the new medallions at the annual celebration<\/a> in Washington, D.C.<\/p>\n

You can watch the 48th Annual Kennedy Center Honors on December 23 on CBS, channel 13, and streaming on Paramount+.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
