FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – The Allen County Coroner\u2019s Office has identified the victim of a fatal stabbing at Piere\u2019s Entertainment Center last week.<\/p>\n

BACKGROUND: <\/b>One dead, one hurt in stabbing at Piere\u2019s Entertainment Center<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n

According to FWPD, officers were called to the club just before 1:45 a.m. on Friday.<\/p>\n

When police entered the club, they say they found a man who had been stabbed. Life-saving measures were attempted, however, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n

On Monday, the coroner\u2019s office identified the victim as 28-year-old Jermichael Lamarkeyes James of Fort Wayne.<\/p>\n

James\u2019s cause of death is stab wounds to the torso, and his manner of death has been ruled a homicide.<\/p>\n

James\u2019s death marks the 33rd Homicide in Allen County this year.<\/p>\n
