MATTHEWS \u2013 The Town of Matthews Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Resource Department announces the launch of two new indoor entertainment series in 2026.<\/p>\n
The Fullwood Amp\u2019d Concert Series and the Matthews Movie Series aim to provide quality entertainment inside the Fullwood Theater at the Matthews Community Center, 100 E. McDowell St.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n Fullwood Amp\u2019d Concert Series<\/strong><\/p>\n The Town of Matthews is turning up the volume indoors with the debut of a rebranded concert experience: Fullwood Amp\u2019d.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Previously known as the Color of Jazz series, Fullwood Amp\u2019d expands beyond jazz to showcase a wider variety of musical genres and appeal to more audiences. Concertgoers can enjoy four tribute bands throughout the season.<\/span><\/p>\n Fullwood Amp\u2019d lineup:<\/span><\/p>\n \u2022 Feb. 13: Chicago Rewired \u2013\u00a0A tribute to Chicago<\/span><\/p>\n \u2022 April 10: Carolina Troubadours \u2013\u00a0A tribute to George Strait<\/span><\/p>\n \u2022 June 5: Petty Rewind \u2013\u00a0A tribute to Tom Petty<\/span><\/p>\n \u2022 Aug. 14: REO Survivor \u2013\u00a0A tribute to REO Speedwagon, Survivor and Loverboy<\/span><\/p>\n Concerts begin at 7 p.m., with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. Light concessions will be available for purchase.<\/span><\/p>\n General admission costs $15. Preferred seating (center section, first five rows) costs $25. Seating is unassigned. A limited number of preferred seats will be available.<\/span><\/p>\n
