The acclaimed rock band Radiohead announced that it is postponing two dates on its European tour due to lead singer Thom Yorke coming down with an \u201cextreme throat infection.\u201d<\/p>\n
In a post on Instagram<\/a>, the band said on Monday that its two shows scheduled for Dec. 1 and 2 in Copenhagen have been rescheduled for Dec. 15 and 16, respectively.<\/p>\n \u201cWe are devastated to have to postpone these two shows at such short notice but Thom has been diagnosed with an extreme throat infection which has made it impossible for him to sing,\u201d the social media post said. <\/p>\n \u201cTreatment is underway and we\u2019re hopeful Thom will recover in time to play the final two Copenhagen shows on Dec 4th and 5th, and all four Berlin shows, starting on Dec 8th.\u201d<\/p>\n Tickets for the postponed shows will be honored on the rescheduled dates, the band said. Refunds will be given at the point of purchase. <\/p>\n \u201cWe have been so blown away by the audience reactions on these dates and are loving being back on stage again; needless to say, we feel terrible that we have been forced to postpone these shows,\u201d the post concluded.<\/p>\n It has been seven years since Radiohead last toured. Their shows at the O2 arena in London broke an attendance record, according to Rolling Stone.<\/a> The band, however, has not announced any tour dates for 2026 yet. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
