\u201cWe are adamant that these are rights, both copyright and master rights. They cannot be tampered with,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Artists\u2019 voices will not be permitted for AI use without explicit consent, and new works derived from existing songs will also require approval.<\/p>\n
Despite concerns in the industry, S\u00f6lvi argues that Iceland should not stand apart from emerging technology.<\/p>\n
\u201cSaying we\u2019re not going to participate is not a strategy. It\u2019s a surrender,\u201d he said, adding that AI music is already widespread on platforms like TikTok and YouTube.<\/p>\n
S\u00f6lvi believes future revenue opportunities are likely. \u201cOf course it will become a revenue stream in the future,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
