Radiohead<\/a> has been forced to reschedule two shows on the band\u2019s first concert tour in seven years<\/a> over lead singer Thom Yorke\u2019s health. <\/p>\n The English group postponed their Copenhagen shows on Dec. 1 and Dec. 2 after Yorke, 57, was came down with a throat infection that rendered his singing voice useless.<\/p>\n \u201cWe are devastated to have to postpone these two shows at such short notice but Thom has been diagnosed with an extreme throat infection which has made it impossible for him to sing,\u201d Radiohead wrote on their website<\/a>. <\/p>\n \u201cTreatment is underway and we\u2019re hopeful Thom will recover in time to play the final two Copenhagen shows on Dec 4th and 5th, and all four Berlin shows, starting on Dec 8th,\u201d the band continued. \u201cWe have been so blown away by the audience reactions on these dates and are loving being back on stage again; needless to say, we feel terrible that we have been forced to postpone these shows.”<\/p>\n Radiohead\u2019s Copenhagen shows have been rescheduled for Dec. 15 and 16. Tickets for the original shows will be automatically transferred to the new corresponding date. <\/p>\n Radiohead is a Grammy-winning art rock band known for their experimental, alternative sound on songs including the band\u2019s 1992 debut single \u201cCreep.\u201d The single also served as their commercial breakthrough. The group was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2019<\/a> and five of their albums have been named among Rolling Stone\u2019s 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.<\/p>\n After a seven-year hiatus<\/a>, Radiohead kicked off<\/a> the band\u2019s tour<\/a> on Nov. 4 at Madrid\u2019s Movistar Arena where they performed a 25-song set. The setlist included \u201cNo Surprises,\u201d<\/a> \u201cWeird Fishes\/Arpeggi,\u201d<\/a> \u201cIdioteque,\u201d<\/a> \u201cFake Plastic Trees\u201d<\/a> and \u201cEverything in Its Right Place,\u201d<\/a> according to videos posted on social media.<\/p>\n Radiohead will continue their European trek with several shows in Germany later this month. Tickets for the tour are sold out, but fans can buy them using reliable third-party ticket sellers such as StubHub<\/a>, VividSeats<\/a> and SeatGeek<\/a>.<\/p>\n
