Yet the group still secured a nomination for Vocal Group of the Year, a category that had seen Old Dominion win for the past seven years. In a surprise upset, the Red Clay Strays ended up winning, marking a\u00a0 breakthrough moment for the band. Reflecting on their rise, lead vocalist Brandon Coleman shared the group\u2019s philosophy: \u201cNot giving up, first of all, that\u2019s really the main secret. Just don\u2019t quit.
