Ray Stevens has returned to work after a July heart attack <\/a>and has announced a new album.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m trying to get strong enough to continue performing,\u201d the Country Music Hall of Fame member said in a release. \u201cBut in the meantime, I\u2019ve got a lot of work I want to do in the recording studio, so I intend to focus my attention there for now.\u201d<\/p>\n

The two-time Grammy winner will release \u201cRay Stevens Favorites Old and New\u201d on Feb. 12. The first single, \u201cSavannah,\u201d will arrive the same day.<\/p>\n

According to Country Insider<\/a>, Stevens is also considering selling his CabaRay Showroom entertainment complex in West Nashville. T<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019d like to sell it,\u201d Stevens says. \u201cI just need someone to give me a call and make an offer I can understand and can\u2019t refuse.\u201d<\/p>\n

Stevens sold more than 40 million records during his 60-year career, including \u201cThe Streak\u201d and \u201cEverything Is Beautiful.\u201d<\/p>\n

In July, Stevens suffered what was being described as a \u201cmild heart attack.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

The country music legend was admitted to a Nashville hospital after he began experiencing chest pain. He underwent a heart catheterization procedure, citing a statement from his publicity team, that confirmed that he\u2019d had a heart attack.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
