\n\tEKKL Entertainment, a newly launched distribution company, has acquired \u201cShe Dances<\/a>,\u201d starring Steve Zahn<\/a> and his daughter, Audrey Zahn. The film premiered at this year\u2019s Tribeca Film Festival<\/a> and marked the feature directorial debut of Rick Gomez.<\/p>\n \n\tZahn and Gomez co-wrote the story of a parent and child attempting to repair their relationship and reconcile over a shared tragedy against the backdrop of the Young Miss Southeast Regional Dance Finals. <\/p>\n \n\tEKKL Entertainment said it is dedicated \u201cto curating stories that remind us who we are, what we believe, and why we belong.\u201d It wants to distribute audience-friendly and inspiring films.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cShe Dances\u201d also stars Mackenzie Ziegler, Rosemarie DeWitt, Sonequa Martin-Green and Ethan Hawke.
