Meghan Markle appeared to show a more reflective view of her time in the United Kingdom during a Netflix holiday-themed segment, With Love, Meghan – Holiday Celebration, that featured her guiding a guest through British Christmas traditions.<\/p>\n
The Duchess of Sussex<\/a>, 44, took part in a festive activity in what she called her crafting room, where she and a guest made and pulled traditional Christmas<\/a> crackers.<\/p>\n Body language expert Judi James, in an interview with Lucy Parker of Online Casinos Canada<\/a>, analyzed Markle\u2019s gestures and remarks in the clip<\/a>.<\/p>\n “Meghan is in her crafting room, showing her guest how to make crackers, and she begins to UK-splain to him with no expression of mockery or disapproval,” James said.<\/p>\n “She appears proud to associate herself with UK ‘culture’ and to be able to teach her guest about it, which we can assume is a reference to the Royal Family.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n “She places her hands at the sides of her face in joy before also miming the act of reading the little jokes or riddles that come from the crackers,” James added, describing the body language as a sign of genuine fondness for the memory.<\/p>\n Markle\u2019s appearance also touched on a recurring theme in her public remarks of being “seen.”<\/p>\n James said that language may have carried a deeper meaning related to her time in the UK.<\/p>\n “There is another more retrospective hint to the royals in her much-loved and very heavily meaningful references to what she always refers to as \u2018Being seen,\u2019” James said. “For such a high-profile woman, there is a suggestion that not being \u2018seen\u2019 was something she might have suffered during the early days of her marriage in the UK.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
