HBO Max\u2019s much-anticipated remastered debut of \u201cMad Men\u201d was spoiled by several on-screen errors and mislabeled episodes.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Last month, Warner Bros. announced<\/a> that it would remaster the show in 4K to give HBO Max \u201caudiences and longtime Mad Men<\/em> fans the opportunity to enjoy the series\u2019 authentically crafted elements with crisp detail and enhanced visual clarity.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The first four seasons of the show were shot on 35mm film. However, the sharper resolution didn\u2019t distract people from the mistakes popping up onscreen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

During one Season 1 episode<\/a>, crew members and a vomit bag are captured in a shot where drunken character Roger Sterling (played by John Slattery) threw up at the office. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

In a Season 2 example<\/a>, viewers were supposed to see character Peggy Olson (played by Elisabeth Moss) walking down a New York City street in the 1960s. However, watchers also saw a Mexican restaurant displaying a sign with a Los Angeles area code and an ad for cell phone SIM cards.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Lionsgate delivered the wrong versions of the episodes to HBO, according to The Hollywood Reporter<\/a>, which added on Tuesday that the episodes were being swapped out.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

\u201cMad Men\u201d officially debuted on the platform Monday, but the show, produced by Lionsgate Television, aired originally on AMC from 2007 to 2015, with seven seasons and 92 episodes. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

The show is set in 1960s New York and follows the plight of an ad executive named Don Draper, played by Jon Hamm, and an ad agency.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

During its run, \u201cMad Men\u201d became a crowd favorite, earning 116 Emmy nominations and 16 Emmy wins.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Viewers can still watch the unremastered version on AMC. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Representatives for HBO Max and Lionsgate did not immediately respond to celebrity.land\u2019s request for comment.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
