\n\tSean Combs<\/a> sent Aubrey O\u2019Day a string of sexually explicit emails and images of his penis while they were filming Making the Band<\/em>, the singer alleges in a new Netflix documentary about the Bad Boy founder.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI don\u2019t want to just fuck you, I want to turn you out,\u201d O\u2019Day reads aloud in Sean Combs: The Reckoning<\/em>, which premiered today. \u201cI can see you being with some motherfucker that you tell what to do. I make my woman do what I tell her to do, and she loves it. I just want and like to do things different. I\u2019m-a finish watching this porn and finish masturbating. I\u2019ll think of you. If you change your mind and get ready to do what I say, hit me.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tThe email, dated March 23, 2008, included Combs\u2019 standard signature at the time: \u201cGod bless. Diddy. God is the Greatest.\u201d O\u2019Day said she continually rebuffed Combs\u2019 sexual advances and was eventually kicked out of Danity Kane. \u201cI absolutely felt that I was fired for not participating sexually,\u201d she said in the film.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tO\u2019Day has long been vocal about her negative experience at Bad Boy, and the MTV reality show often highlighted Combs singling out O\u2019Day over her appearance, what he believed was a bad attitude, and calling her \u201coverly raunchy, promiscuous.\u201d However, this is the first time the Danity Kane member has gone into detail about the alleged sexual harassment she faced off-camera.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tIt was only within the past two years, O\u2019Day said, that she learned of an affidavit from a woman who claimed she had seen an incapacitated O\u2019Day being sexually assaulted by Combs and another man in 2005. \u201cI don\u2019t even know if I was raped,\u201d O\u2019Day added, stressing she had no recollection of the alleged assault. \u201cAnd I don\u2019t want to know.\u201d\u00a0(A rep for Combs did not immediately reply to a request for comment.)<\/p>\n

\n\tO\u2019Day\u2019s account is part of new revelations and allegations leveled against the disgraced mogul in the Netflix docuseries. It features interviews with former Bad Boy artist Mark Curry, Diddy-Dirty Money member Kalenna Harper, former staffer Capricorn Clark, Bad Boy co-founder Kirk Burrowes, and others. The four-part series includes never-before-seen footage of the night the Notorious B.I.G. was gunned down in March 1997, as well as a panicked 911 call as the rapper\u2019s friend raced him to the emergency room, where he was pronounced dead.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tDirected by Alexandria Stapleton and executive-produced by rapper Curtis \u201c50 Cent<\/a>\u201d Jackson, the project also obtained footage of a stressed Combs days before he was arrested on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy. (The 56-year-old was acquitted of the more serious charges in July, but he was sentenced to 50 months in prison after being found guilty on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution charges.)\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tCombs\u2019 team have accused the streamer of using \u201cstolen\u201d material<\/a> that was never authorized for release and labeled the documentary as a \u201cshameful hit piece.\u201d Additionally, they claimed it was Netflix who first proposed a documentary about Combs in 2023, but when Combs refused to hand over his creative control, the company had a \u201cvindictive response to that rejection\u201d and began working with rival Jackson.<\/p>\n

\n\tOn Monday, lawyers for Combs fired off a cease and desist letter to the company, warning the multi-millionaire \u201chas not hesitated to take legal action against media entities and others who violate his rights, and he will not hesitate to do so against Netflix,\u201d according to a copy of the letter obtained by Rolling Stone<\/em>. (Earlier this year, Combs sued NBCUniversal for $100 million over its documentary Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy<\/em>. The case is still active.)<\/p>\n

\n\tAttorneys for Combs also accused Netflix of paying documentary participants, and claimed the information they disclosed likely violated \u201cnumerous non-disclosure, non-disparagement, and intellectual property agreements.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tNetflix called Combs\u2019 team accusations \u201cfalse,\u201d in a statement provided to Variety<\/a><\/em>. \u201cThe project has no ties to any past conversations between Sean Combs and Netflix. The footage of Combs leading up to his indictment and arrest were legally obtained. This is not a hit piece or an act of retribution. Curtis Jackson is an executive producer but does not have creative control. No one was paid to participate.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tSix days before Combs was arrested on federal criminal charges, footage he intended to use in his own documentary shows him strategizing with his sons, lawyers, then-chief of staff, and entourage on how to fight his quickly tarnishing reputation. The brief window into Combs\u2019 inner sanctum reveals him to be a master strategist, constantly thinking of how to control the narrative around him.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cHe\u2019s creating a narrative, always,\u201d explained Capricorn Clark, one of Combs\u2019 longtime and high-ranking Bad Boy employees. \u201cHe\u2019s the best storyteller in hip-hop. He thinks he\u2019s Black Superman, \u2018I can do what I want.\u2019\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tWhen discussing how current media coverage could prove damaging at trial, Combs ordered his team to find \u201csomebody that has dealt in the dirtiest of dirtiest, dirty business of media and propaganda\u201d to target potential jurors. He reasoned that some people might not watch celebrity.land and that his team should look to social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram to reach his intended audience.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tSpotting police officers on a nearby roof, Combs instructed his videographer to get \u201ccutaway shots\u201d of the uniformed officials. He organized a jaunt up to Harlem, smiling as he took pictures with fans and happily downing shots at a local bar. When he jumped back into his waiting SUV, Combs\u2019 mask dropped. \u201cI need some hand sanitizer,\u201d he said. \u201cI\u2019ve been out in the streets amongst the people. I gotta take a bath.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI began to see him use the culture only when he needed it,\u201d said Combs\u2019 former head of security Roger Bonds. \u201cNow you\u2019re walking around Harlem because you know that the world turned their back on you, so now you will come back home, hoping that Harlem got your back.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tCombs was seen raging in real time when he learned of former Danity Kane and Diddy-Dirty Money artist Dawn Richard\u2019s lawsuit against him, declaring that the \u201cgloves are off.\u201d He directed people in his camp, including his adult son Justin, to circulate old clips of Richard praising him in interviews. He also called in a favor from Kalenna Harper, who was in the group Diddy-Dirty Money, begging her to release a statement disputing Richard\u2019s claims. (Harper eventually released a statement.) \n\tFor the first time, a man and woman who served as jurors at Combs\u2019 eight-week criminal trial over the summer explained why they acquitted Combs of sex trafficking his former girlfriend Casandra \u201cCassie\u201d Ventura. Although both jurors conceded Combs was extremely violent toward the \u201cMe & U\u201d singer, one woman, identified only as Juror 160, reasoned that Combs wasn\u2019t charged with domestic violence.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tThe man, identified as Juror 75, said he couldn\u2019t understand why Ventura repeatedly went back to Combs. Using language similar to what Combs\u2019 attorney Marc Agnifilo used in his closing arguments as he beseeched the jury to find Combs innocent, the man said he believed the couple were deeply in love but locked in a toxic relationship.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThat was a very, very interesting relationship,\u201d he explained. \u201cThis is two people in love; they are overly in love. You cannot explain. She wanted to be with him. He took her for granted. He never thought that she would leave him. So [it\u2019s] like both hands clapping together. You cannot clap with one hand, [you have to use] both hands, then you get the noise.\u00a0<\/p>\n
