Speaking to Hello! Magazine, Tinsley said, “Charles doesn’t like chocolate, he doesn’t like coffee, nor does he like garlic. So we do have to consider these things when we’re creating a menu for him.”, reports the Mirror US.<\/a><\/p>\n

He added, “Wherever he goes for a banquet, he always takes a few things with him to be placed on his table. He always takes a little silver Maldon sea salt container, and his favorite cushion. You can always spot [King] Charles’ place setting at a table, because all his bits and pieces are there.”<\/p>\n

He revealed that the monarch “requires a side salad for every meal” and is extremely specific about his boiled eggs – demanding they be cooked for just two to three minutes. The chef elaborated, “Normally, a soft-boiled egg takes around five minutes. So imagine this coddled egg… it’s going to be very, very soft.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

“The royal required a coddled egg that was peeled and hidden beneath salad leaves. He would then mash his salad leaves into the eggs to make a dressing \u2013 a bit like mayonnaise. Now, if you can imagine peeling an egg that’s only been boiled for a few minutes \u2013 you’d have to make several at a time because you’d end up breaking them in the process!”.<\/p>\n

During his encounter with Charles, the German president stated, “The day after tomorrow I will travel to Coventry, a city that was reduced to rubble by German bombs during the Second World War. This year we look back on 80 years of peace between our two countries.<\/p>\n

“What a gift! Flourishing cities grew out of the ashes. Enemies became friends,” he continued. “That is our common history – and it shows what is possible when people have the courage to pursue reconciliation.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Charles’ tribute to Steinmeier drew inspiration from more recent history – the collapse of the Berlin Wall. “<\/p>\n

The tumultuous period of political, social and technological change that happened after that has tested our values,” he declared.<\/p>\n

“Many have found that unsettling and even frightening.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

“Fear can lead to anger and resentment. But the United Kingdom and Germany are united in a continued belief in democracy, freedom and the rule of law.”<\/p>\n

This three-day diplomatic mission occurs just under four months following Britain and Germany’s signing of an accord promising enhanced collaboration across multiple areas, responding to Russian hostility in Ukraine<\/a> and wider democratic threats globally.<\/p>\n

The agreement, known as the Kensington Treaty, currently awaits ratification by the German parliament.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
