This week\u2019s New Classical Album of the Week is the second solo album from pianist Tiffany Poon<\/a>. <\/p>\n Originally from Hong Kong, Poon came to the United States when she was 9 years old to study at The Juilliard School. She made her debut as a soloist with New Jersey\u2019s Plainfield Symphony Orchestra at age 10, and since then, she\u2019s gone on to win prizes at piano competitions around the world. <\/p>\n She started sharing videos of her performances on her YouTube channel<\/a> during the pandemic, and in 2020, she founded Together With Classical<\/a>, a nonprofit that empowers people to share their own experiences with classical music.\u00a0<\/p>\n WPR\u2019s \u201cWisconsin Today\u201d newsletter keeps you connected to the state you love without feeling overwhelmed.
