(NewsNation<\/a>) \u2014 \u00a0Former Prince Andrew<\/a>, who was stripped of his royal titles<\/a> and told to move out of his royal residence in October, is not leaving quietly and wants \u201ca lot of money,\u201d according to royal biographer Andrew Lownie.<\/p>\n

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor is reportedly \u201cdigging his heels in\u201d and attempting to\u00a0get \u201cquite a big house\u201d as the royal family pushes to remove him from their property, Lownie told\u00a0NewsNation\u2019s Paula Froelich<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The former prince has made previous attempts to negotiate a cash payment<\/a> to leave the Royal Lodge. It remains unclear if his negotiations have been successful.<\/p>\n

Mountbatten-Windsor also \u201cwants his daughters to remain within the royal fold, retain their titles,\u201d Lownie said. Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie have remained in proximity with the royals despite their father having fallen out of favor.<\/p>\n

In October, Mountbatten-Windsor\u2019s brother, King Charles III, stripped him of his royal titles and told him to move due to his relationship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Scrutiny of the former prince\u2019s relationship with Epstein intensified a few months ago when renewed allegations<\/a> of sexual abuse came to light. In her posthumous memoir released in October 2025, Epstein accuser<\/a> Virginia Giuffre<\/a> said Prince Andrew felt \u201centitled\u201d to her and said she was given $15,000 for her first night with the royal. She was 17 at the time.<\/p>\n
