\nThe pair first previewed the duet at Lollapalooza in Chicago last summer, a moment that sparked the idea to record the song together officially. <\/p>\n
\nReflecting on the partnership, Perez explained: \u201cEternity was a song that understood me from the first moment I heard it. Getting to bring our perspectives together through this record has been so special to me. Grief is an isolating experience and having a friend who understands you makes the difference between isolation and connection. \nThe collaboration arrives during a milestone period for Warren. Just last month, he earned his first GRAMMY nomination in the prestigious Best New Artist category.
