Memphis rap star GloRilla release her pretty-great full-length debut GLORIOUS<\/a><\/em> about a year ago, and she recently collaborated with Summer Walker<\/a> and performed with Tyler, The Creator<\/a> at Camp Flog Gnaw. But you don’t care about that, do you? I’m sorry. I don’t mean to impugn you like that. Maybe you care about everything that GloRilla does. I’m just saying that she got a lot more attention when Young Thug complained about her “big-ass head” and “big mouth” on a leaked phone call from jail.<\/p>\n Young Thug complained about a lot<\/em> of his peers in his leaked jail phone calls, but GloRilla was one of the only ones who directly responded<\/a>. After the leak, she tweeted, “Mind you dis da same n***a blowing my phone up to ask what color my eyes is lmaooo.” For his part, Thug apologized directly to Glo, tweeting, “first of all I\u2019m sorry to u for my words and I honestly don\u2019t think ur ugly at all, I was speaking from jail just having a hard time with life.. I don\u2019t like bashing girls and hardly ever did.”<\/p>\n In a recent Complex<\/em> interview, GloRilla said that she’s spoken to Thug since the apology and that they’re “cool… It was a funny conversation. You know, I don’t take a lot of stuff too serious. Like, I joke. Especially if it ain’t no death or fighting matter, nothing like that, I ain’t gonna take it too serious.” She doesn’t sound too sure about a collaboration, though.<\/p>\n This morning, GloRilla releases two new singles of her own. “March” is an old-school Memphis head-knocker about how Glo will beat up your whole family if you talk shit. It’s got a video where she takes part in an HBCU marching-band performance, and that always looks cool as hell.
