And that\u2019s exactly what happened with Lions At The Gate, the band full of ex-Ill Ni\u00f1o members that\u2019s since been working at carving a path of their own.<\/p>\n<p>The new track, \u201cBurn The Candle\u201d is described by the band as a \u201crallying cry for unity amid division.\u201d Speaking of the track in a more in-depth manner, frontman Cristian Machado sheds some light on what\u2019s going on under the hood with this new track.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201c\u2019Burn The Candle\u2019 is a song about the divide being driven into our societies. Hatred is being normalized right in front of our eyes. No one is immune to it, we are being fed constant direction to build fortresses around our hearts because it\u2019s a war out there, and so lead your ego into battle. This song yells out to people, divided we are like sheep waiting to be led to a slaughter. So proudly we wave the triple-edged sword driven into the side of humanity: greed, pride, lust. I know eventually we open our eyes, but for how much longer will we burn the candle at both ends.\u201d\n<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>As for the band\u2019s signing with Reigning Phoenix Music, the label\u2019s co-founder Gerardo Martinez gushed at how excited they were to have Lions At The Gate join their lineup of clients.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re absolutely thrilled to welcome Lions at the Gate to the roster.
