The State Department confirmed the change on social media<\/a>, writing that the new name reflects \u201cthe greatest dealmaker in our nation\u2019s history.\u201d The department also shared a snap showing the president\u2019s name on the facade of the building that houses the independent nonprofit, which was established by President Ronald Reagan in 1984 and is funded by Congress.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Klepper noted that the agency was one of the first that the Trump administration tried to<\/a> shut down<\/a> earlier this year.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cBut now it looks like he\u2019s had a change of heart \u2015 and wall,\u201d said Klepper before tossing to celebrity.land<\/a> coverage of the renaming.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
