a child neglect charge<\/a>, according to police and public records.<\/p>\nThe 26-year-old performer, whose real name was Carlito Mitford Jr., died Saturday after he was rushed to the Delray Medical Center for treatment following an “incident” at a hotel in the city of Boca Raton, local police said. <\/p>\n
So far, the cause of death has not been released. But police have confirmed that Nicole Grikstas, the 24-year-old woman Mitford had been staying with at the Boca Raton Quality Inn along with a toddler, was taken into custody.<\/p>\n
Currently, Grikstas is being held in a Palm Beach County jail, records show. She lives in Boca Raton. <\/p>\n
It was not immediately clear whether the body of the \u201cParty at the Cemetery\u201d performer was still in the custody of the Palm Beach County Medical Examiner. <\/p>\n
\u201cAll I can confirm is that Carlito Mitford has passed,\u201d a spokesperson there said.<\/p>\n
