Can I give you a hug?\u2019 And she said, \u2018Of course you can.&#8217;\u201d <\/p>\n<p>The \u201cPrice Tag\u201d hitmaker told \u201cGMA\u201d that she was \u201cgrateful\u201d the princess received her message \u201cin the way it was meant.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Jessie J <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/06\/04\/celebrity-news\/jessie-j-reveals-shock-breast-cancer-diagnosis-in-emotional-video\/\">revealed that she had been diagnosed with early breast cancer<\/a> in June, while Middleton announced in March 2024 that she was undergoing treatment for an unspecified form of cancer.<\/p>\n<p>The <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/11\/20\/royal-family\/kate-middleton-shares-emotional-embrace-with-jessie-j-after-bonding-over-cancer-journeys\/\">two were spotted embracing<\/a> at the Royal Variety Performance in London on Nov. 19 after both going through extensive recoveries.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Middleton revealed in March 2024 that she was undergoing treatment for cancer. <span class=\"credit\">Zak Hussein \/ BACKGRID<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Jessie told fans in June about her own diagnosis with early breast cancer. <span class=\"credit\">@jessiej\/Instagram<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Jessie J has been sharing details of her health journey with fans online, calling herself an \u201copen book\u201d regarding her experience. She told \u201cGMA\u201d that cancer has given her \u201cdeep perspective\u201d on life.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen I got diagnosed with breast cancer, I wasn\u2019t scared; I felt a little bit out of control,\u201d she explained. \u201cBut I\u2019m a sharer, and I wasn\u2019t going to sit at home and cry about it \u2026 I\u2019m really riding that wave and living in the moment and enjoying life.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Of her initial discovery of the disease, the singer noted that advocating for herself was invaluable.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI felt a lump and I said, \u2018Oh, that doesn\u2019t feel right.\u2019 I went and got it looked at, got an ultrasound and they were like, \u2018Everything looks fine,&#8217;\u201d she said, noting that she just knew something was still wrong.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI said, \u2018But I got this achy arm, and I feel like I kept waking up [on] pins and needles.&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Jessie has been sharing details of her health journey online with fans.  <span class=\"credit\">jessiej\/Instagram<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>She says her experience with cancer has given her \u201cdeep perspective.\u201d <span class=\"credit\">YouTube\/@thismorning<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cWe need to talk about these things.
