The Royals opened strong, right after the puck drop with <\/p>\n
Jack Brown<\/a><\/p>\n scoring in the first period, goal assisted by <\/p>\n Tyler Braccini<\/a><\/p>\n and <\/p>\n Shane Lavelle<\/a><\/p>\n .<\/p>\n The Royals’ <\/p>\n Joe Kelly<\/a><\/p>\n made it 2-0 late in the first period, assisted by <\/p>\n Jeremiah Konkel<\/a><\/p>\n and <\/p>\n Max Hamstad<\/a><\/p>\n .<\/p>\n The Johnnies narrowed the gap to 2-1, after only 51 seconds into the second period when Jordan Newpower found the back of the net, assisted by Logan Lyke and Jackson Borst.<\/p>\n Royals’ <\/p>\n Joe Westlund<\/a><\/p>\n tallied a goal with a minute left, making the score 3-1. <\/p>\n
