He continued: \u201cI’m grateful to the wonderful medical team who saved my life.\u201d<\/p>\n
Meghan\u2019s dad also revealed he doesn\u2019t know if he will be \u201cable to cope\u201d with just one leg, and that he doesn\u2019t want to spend the rest of his life \u201cin a wheelchair\u201d.<\/p>\n
He said: \u201cI’m grateful to be alive. But living without a leg is a tough prospect.”<\/p>\n
He continued: \u201c’I’m an old man now but my life has been saved and I’m grateful for that. I have a long road ahead.\u201d<\/p>\n
