\u201cIt\u2019s the kind of syndrome that nothing really affects you until it does and it\u2019s fatal, and that\u2019s just that way that it goes,\u201d she added. \u201cA lot of people on my dad\u2019s side, they\u2019ve unfortunately \u2014 out of nowhere without even knowing they had it \u2014 had a cardiac episode and they were gone.\u201d <\/p>\n
Cooke told E! she is feeling fine and believes she will \u201clive a long, happy, healthy life,\u201d despite the condition. <\/p>\n
She is not the only member of her family dealing with health issues, though, so she told E! that has created issues when it comes to her support system. Normally, she said, she leans on her family when times are tough, but when they are also dealing with health issues, she said her friends have been invaluable. <\/p>\n
