The World Cup is coming to the US\u2026 both England and Scotland have qualified \u2013 it’s a Christmas miracle!” he added.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n While it was a Christmas event, he also touched on celebrating the Fourth of July and how it’s been a new experience for him.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n “It’s a new world to me, celebrating independence from Britain, and more specifically, independence from my great, great, great, great, great, great-grandfather,” he noted.<\/span><\/p>\n Getting right into the holidays is something his wife, Meghan Markle, has become known for.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The Duchess of Sussex recently released <\/span>With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration<\/span><\/em><\/a><\/p>\n The speech from Harry at the event came just days after <\/span>he made a surprise appearance on <\/span>The Late Show with Steven Colbert<\/span><\/em><\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Harry joked that he had become lost while searching for an audition to play a prince in a holiday rom-com \u2013 the “Gingerbread Christmas Prince saves Christmas in Nebraska”.<\/span><\/p>\n Colbert asked why an actual Prince would want to star in such a production, and Harry replied, “You Americans are obsessed with Christmas movies, and you’re clearly obsessed with royalty, so why not.”<\/span><\/p>\n
