Online<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n Dolly Parton<\/a> is gearing up to come back with a bang.<\/p>\n Amid the country music icon\u2019s recent health concerns<\/a>, her goddaughter Miley Cyrus<\/a> assured fans she\u2019s looking forward to resuming her regular activities.<\/p>\n \u201cShe\u2019s always gonna keep the show going,\u201d Cyrus told Entertainment Tonight<\/a> in an interview published Dec. 1. \u201cThe show must go on, so she\u2019s excited to get back to work.\u201d<\/p>\n Parton, 79, has been focused on her well-being in recent months. She missed an event at her Dollywood amusement park in September due to complications caused by a kidney stone<\/a>, opting to appear in a pre-recorded video instead.<\/p>\n \u201cTurned out it\u2019d given me an infection,\u201d she said in a video<\/a> shown during the ceremony, \u201cand the doctor said, \u2018You don\u2019t need to be traveling right this minute, so you need a few days to get better.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n The \u201c9 to 5\u201d singer went on to sit out from a number of appearances in the weeks that followed, and postponed a series of concerts<\/a> in Las Vegas set for December 2025 to September 2026.<\/p>\n READ: <\/b>How Selma Blair Is Preparing for Acting Return After Health Battle<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cI am not going to be able to rehearse and put together the show that I want you to see, and the show that you deserve to see,\u201d she said in a post on Instagram<\/a> in September. \u201cYou pay good money to see me perform, and I want to be at my best for you.\u201d<\/p>\n But despite Parton\u2019s health challenges, she has continued to stay upbeat.
