According to a new report, the former Duke of York has caused a new tension in the palace after Parliament said it will investigate his very low rent deal for the 30-room Royal Lodge in Windsor. <\/p>\n
Speaking with Radar Online,<\/i> palace sources said senior royals are upset and \u201cfurious\u201d the inquiry could also draw attention to other royal homes across the UK.<\/p>\n
It would even bring into focus family’s properties abroad, including the King\u2019s property in Romania. <\/p>\n
“Everyone is on edge,” said a source close to the royals. “They’ve seen what’s happening with Andrew, and nobody wants to be next under the microscope.\u201d<\/p>\n
“There’s real anger behind the palace walls \u2013 especially among those paying nominal rents on estates that could fetch millions on the open market,\u201d they added.<\/p>\n
“They feel Andrew has properly dropped them in it. It is the money that is winding them up the most, not his links to Epstein. It’s always about the money with the royals.”<\/p>\n
