Actor Dileep has issued his first official response following his acquittal in the Kerala actress assault case which marks a defining moment after eight years of legal battle and public scrutiny.As reported by 24 News, stepping outside the courtroom after the verdict, Dileep told reporters, \u201cTruth has won today. I have been waiting for this moment for eight years. I withstood everything because I was innocent.\u201d The actor also stated that he would speak in detail later and thanked those who stood by him throughout the trial. <\/p>\n Dileep noted that the past years took a heavy toll on both his personal life and career. \u201cMy family went through pain nobody should ever experience. I believed the truth would prevail, and today it has,\u201d he added.Supporters gathered outside the court welcomed the verdict with cheers, singing praises and distributing laddoos in the court premises.<\/p>\n Film director and long-time friend Nadhirshah was among the first to react.
