December 8, 2025 –\u00a0Eastern Wharf<\/strong><\/a>, a vibrant destination overlooking the Savannah River at 101 Port St. in Savannah, Ga., will host a wide range of family-friendly, holiday-themed events throughout the month of December. All events are free and open to the public. Attendees are invited to bring a can of food to donate to Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia to help local residents in need during the holidays.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re thrilled to celebrate the holiday season at Eastern Wharf and invite everyone to join us for live music, Sundays with Santa and fun for the whole family,\u201d said\u00a0Eastern Wharf Executive Director Kayne Lanahan. \u201cBy day or by night, Eastern Wharf is the perfect place to enjoy the magic of the holidays in Savannah.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Following the much-anticipated\u00a0Eastern Wharf Holiday Kickoff Weekend<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0on Sat., Nov. 29 and Sun., Nov. 30, the fun will continue throughout December.\u00a0Santa\u2019s Grotto at Eastern Wharf<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>will offer a magical open-air space decked out in festive holiday decor, twinkling lights and a lighted Christmas tree. It’s the perfect place to snap a fun holiday photo. Santa\u2019s Grotto is open to the public daily through December 20th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Eastern Wharf will also host a special\u00a0Holiday Concert Series<\/strong>\u00a0on Thursday evenings in December at 6 p.m., featuring top local bands and talented artists performing in the intimate grotto at The Park at Eastern Wharf. The schedule of these seated shows is as follows:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    In addition,\u00a0Sundays with Santa<\/strong>\u00a0provides the opportunity for attendees to take photos with Santa using their own cameras or phones. Santa will be in residence and available for photos on Sun., Dec. 14 from 3 to 5 p.m.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    • The final\u00a0Sunset Farmers\u2019 Market of 2025\u00a0<\/strong>on\u00a0<\/strong>Thurs., December 11 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.<\/li>\n
    • Squirrel’s at Eastern Wharf\u00a0<\/strong>serving signature pizzas, wings and full bar<\/li>\n
    • Children\u2019s Play Area<\/strong>\u00a0with views of the Savannah River<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n

      Alcoholic beverages are available for purchase from Squirrel\u2019s Eastern Wharf and Thompson Savannah. Small personal coolers (no larger than 20\u201d x 20\u201d x 20\u201d) are allowed on-site.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

      Metered on-street parking is available at kiosks or by downloading the ParkSavannah mobile app, and is enforced from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Parking is also available in the City of Savannah\u2019s 700-space Eastern Wharf Parking Garage. The DOT trolley also stops at Eastern Wharf daily until 7 p.m.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
