Back in 2016, gobbinjr became a Stereogum <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/stereogum.com\/1897015\/artist-to-watch-gobbinjr\/franchises\/interview\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Artist To Watch<\/a> on the strength of her debut album <em>Manalang<\/em> and her <em>vom night<\/em> EP. In 2018, she released her sophomore album <em><a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/stereogum.com\/1989920\/gobbinjr-afraid-of-me\/music\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ocala wick<\/a><\/em>. In 2019, she shared a <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/stereogum.com\/2036124\/gobbinjr-my-love-justin-timberlake-cover\/premiere\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">cover<\/a> of Justin Timberlake&#8217;s &#8220;<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/stereogum.com\/2214097\/the-number-ones-justin-timberlakes-my-love-feat-t-i\/columns\/the-number-ones\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">My Love<\/a>.&#8221; Since then, nothing. But now, gobbinjr is back.<\/p>\n<p>Today, gobbinjr announces that she&#8217;ll release a new album called <em>crystal rabbit moon<\/em> next spring, as <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.undertheradarmag.com\/news\/premiere_gobbinjr_has_shared_a_new_single_just_a_dream\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Under The Radar reports<\/a>. Today, she shares lead single &#8220;just a dream,&#8221; a blurry, gently murmuring track that she says is &#8220;about the shattering return to reality after an impossible crush falls apart.&#8221; The vocals are extra-quiet, since Emma Witmer recorded them while her roommate was asleep.
